LAYERED SALAD
Large
Head of Lettuce 1 pkg. shredded
Mozzarella or
8 eggs,
hard-boiled & sliced Monterey Jack cheese
2 pkg.
frozen peas, defrosted & 1 lb. bacon, fried, cooled
& broken
drained into bite
sizes
1 red
pepper, shopped 2 cups mayonnaise
1 cup
celery, chopped 1/4 to 1/2 cup sugar
1 small
onion (if desired)
After washing and draining
lettuce, tear into bite size pieces. Put on bottom of large salad
bowl. Layer in the peas, peppers, celery, onion, cheese, bacon bits
and egs.
Mix the mayonnaise with the
sugar and pour over the entire salad.
