BBQ ham sandwiches Quick and easy for lunch or a snack

1 lb. chipped ham per 5 people Bottle of BBQ Sauce Buns

Separate ham slices and drop into Dutch oven. Add BBQ sauce and heat through.

linecanoe.gif (609 bytes)

Grilled cheese sandwiches - butter two slices per sandwich and assemble with buttered side out. Place on griddle and turn when brown. Keep warm until serving.

Tomato soup - Add milk or water according to directions on can and heat, stirring frequently to keep from scorching. Stirring in the same direction all the time will make soup blend better and not have a lumpy texture.

linecanoe.gif (609 bytes)

Kebabs - this should be done on the small charcoal stoves. Cut kielbasy, potatoes, green peppers, cherry tomatoes. If fresh mushrooms are used, coat them with vegetable oil. Skewer alternately on the sticks. Season vegetables with garlic salt. Turn frequently until evenly cooked. If using beef instead of kielbasy, marinate in Italian dressing or sprinkle with Worcestershire sauce while cooking.
